Started snowing quite heavily once I had posted the report yesterday and especially during the morning it continued, less so in the afternoon.
Hearing reports from GALA Yuzawa yesterday of a deep 75+cm up there - thanks Mick Rich-san - so there's a lot of fresh snow to be enjoyed at the moment. Not bad at all for mid March!
Since my last report there's been about 10cm down in town. Interestingly Kagura only reporting 3cm.
Anyway after this welcome blast of winter, we about to start heading back into spring weather. It was still actually snowing very lightly just before but there's some clearing in the clouds and even a bit of sun now, going to be a bit warmer. It might even rain later on which would be a real shame given the fresh snow. Please no.
Tomorrow maybe a little colder before sun and warmer conditions altogether from Sunday. Going into next week the forecast is telling us to expect some really warm temperatures... how do you fancy 15+ degrees?!
For the moment though, some great conditions to ride.
