Snowfall at base this season 0cm

Posted on Tuesday 11th November 2014 This is an archived report. The latest Yuzawa Now report can be found here.

I have been discussing this with a few friends this last week.... has it been a good autumn or not in terms of weather? Well, we seem to have had more rain than usual again but we have also had a decent share of fine weather and some spectacular autumn colours in the last week or so.

A few sightings of snow as well on the higher mountains, and a bit spotted on the top area of Kagura as well - though this morning a look at the webcam doesn't show any up there.

This morning the sun is out again and it looks like it will be a fine day with a high of around 15C at town level.

Kagura plans to open for the snow season on Saturday 22nd November, so that's less than 2 weeks away!
