We have another 10cm of fresh snow around town areas since yesterday morning. It was on and off during the day and continued into night time, though no further snow early morning.
(Kagura are reporting 50cm since yesterday which sounds great!)
Today starts with quite a lot of blue sky and some cloud. It's going to be a fine day. With the fresh snow yesterday, conditions should generally be good and it shouldn't get too warm (perhaps about +3C).
Tomorrow is set to be warmer, then warmer still on Friday and Saturday. Good to see the chance of snow again on the forecasts for Sunday.
Ski areas opening as planned this morning. The top lift at Iwappara will be closing at 2:30pm today for some maintenance.
