I was indoors all yesterday (avoiding hayfever) and can't say from experience but apparently it was fairly warm in the morning before really getting colder quite quick in the second part of the day... had the heater on last night. Oh yes and it did rain unfortunately. No reports that I can see of any snow at Kagura...
This morning the sun is back and it should be with us for a run of at least a few days now. Clear and mild/warm conditions forecast for the weekend.
This weekend is the last two days of the season for Maiko Snow Resort in Minamiuonuma which re-opens after being closed Monday to today. They plan to have all of the Gondola side of the resort open (the Maiko area will not be opening). Naeba will also be re-opening for the weekend as well - details are not clear but it looks like the Prince No2 Gondola, Number 5 quad and Takenokodaira pair lift will be operating.
