It is a beautiful morning here in Yuzawa.

A bit of cloud early on for first lifts, but the skies are pretty much clear now with bright sunshine.

There is also a moderate wind, but not enough to spoil the fun at most ski areas --- but it does looks like the Tashiro Area of Kagura (and the Dragondola) is closed for the day.

The downhill course at GALA Yuzawa is scheduled to open for the first time this season sometime this morning. (The Southern Area of that ski-jo... not yet).

Tomorrow looks set to bring us interesting weather.

The forecasts generally seem to predict snow - perhaps heavy at times - and potentially strong winds. Those strong winds, if they happen, may well affect some lifts at some ski areas.
