Shiga Kogen Now: Sunday 8th November 2026
After the wilder weather of yesterday things are somewhat calmer this morning and we have a new thin layer of snow. I wonder how much there might be higher up. Still, with not much expected over the coming days, we can probably this snow to quickly clear up again.
Kumanoyu and Yokoteyama both plan to open... on Saturday (14th November)! They both have friendly machines working on their behalf. No specific news on that front just yet.
The section of Route 292 connection Shiga Kogen with Gunma Prefecture plans to close for the winter season from 1pm on Wednesday 11th November. It should re-open on 21st May 2027.
