Good morning from Shiga Kogen.
It started snowing early morning.
Okushiga are reporting 5cm of fresh snow this morning, with Kumanoyu (the other ski area that reports these things) not reporting any at 7am.
At the moment visibility is limited in some areas and decent in others. It's all very grey/white/silver. Weekend visitors might be pleased to hear that we may get to see the sun tomorrow morning. Would be great if we got a layer of fresh before then, though we are not expecting much today.
In ski area news, the Shibutoge pair lift looks like it will be closed for the day. It will be back open by tomorrow.
