Good morning from Shiga Kogen.
Fresh snow to report this morning. After the rain (boo!), the (wet) snow. Snow > rain anyday!
Both Kumanoyu and Yakebitaiyama resorts are reporting 5cm of fresh this morning and I had 4cm measured. And we are due more as this late season blast of winter looks set to continue.
Today is the last day of the ski season for a number of the areas of Shiga Kogen - see below for details on what is planned to be open.
