I'm writing this from Okushiga Kogen - and it's really snowing heavily just at the moment. They are reporting 30cm of fresh snowfall since yesterday, and so are (were) the neighbouring Yakebitaiyama (at 3am). Over to the south, Kumanoyu is reporting 10cm.
Bottom line: fresh snow everywhere and a fair amount of it in places.
This snow is expected to ease during the day today. We might even get some clearer skies later on and tomorrow morning. Before some more snow later tomorrow.
Peak season is great, isn't it.
