Good morning from Shiga Kogen.
Good news too!
A real wintery night and a decent amount of fresh snowfall has covered everywhere. I am adding 12cm to the report; Kumanoyu are reporting 15cm of fresh snowfall; my friend over near Okushiga is saying 'over 20cm'. This is what we want. Actually, always want more, but you know what I mean!
Kumanoyu is again part open from this morning. They have their Number 2 pair lift operating (up to mid-station) and plan on the day from 8:30am until 4:15pm.
While it is still cloudy we might get some clearer skies later on and very probably some sunshine tomorrow as well as milder temps.
We should be back to colder conditions early week, hopefully with more fresh snow.
