There's a thin layer of snow in places this morning.
Not everywhere across Shiga Kogen has a thin white dusting - in some places it's very much a speckled look and in some it's just wet and still green/brown - but I feel justified in registering the first cm for our records.
It is a rather wet, windy and foggy kind of morning.
The below image is taken from the Ichinose Family webcam in the central region of Shiga Kogen.
Yokoteyama and Kumanoyu ski areas both plan to open on Saturday 14th November. That's just two and a half weeks away. (Most of the ski areas in Shiga Kogen plan to open around the middle of December).
