The 2012/2013 season at Shiga Kogen is now finished, with the last lifts at Yokoteyama being the last yesterday afternoon. The long season is now over and it's a bit of downtime for many people here now as they properly switch into 'green season'. Which, for Shiga Kogen, mostly means hiking, trekking, leisurely walks taking in the scenery and relaxing in onsen.
Anyway, that's it for the Shiga Kogen Now reports for this season. I hope you enjoyed following the reports over winter and we will of course be back in autumn when temperatures are dropping and the next winter season is approaching.
