Original report & photos from 22nd May:
Hello from Shiga Kogen.
Some dull weather at the moment some sprinklings of rain earlier. Let's have some sunshine please!
The Shibutoge lift plans to continue beyond that until 5th June. They sure like their long and late seasons at that area!
This is my last report of the season. It will be updated once there is confirmed news about the last day of the season for the Shibutoge lift.
Be sure to check out all the archive reports and interesting data using the above links.
Thanks for reading. The reports will be back later in the year.
*** Update on 23rd May:
Yokoteyama closed for the season at the end of 22nd May. Shibutoge will definitely be open until 5th June, and they are hinting that they may even be open beyond that!
*** Update on 23rd June:
Today (Friday 23rd June) is the last day of the season for Shibutoge. It has been a long one (197 days for Shibutoge!)
See you all in November when it all starts up again.
