New snowfall at base 12cm
Snowfall at base this season 973cm

Posted on Sunday 20th February 2022 This is an archived report. The latest Shiga Kogen Now report can be found here.

Some snow overnight and it is snowing now. I'd call it lightly for the moment but more snow is expected today and get heavier as the day goes on and overnight into tomorrow. There's a few days of potentially solid snowfall coming in the next few days.

Tomorrow might see some stronger winds blowing around too, so we'll have to keep an eye on that.

Right now kind of limited visibility in places, but not too bad. Probably best to enjoy this calmer picture before this storm rolls in.
