Good morning from Shiga Kogen.
And this morning sees the Ichinose Diamond, Sun Valley and Maruike areas of Shiga Kogen opening; as well as expanded operations at some of the areas that were already open. I have updated the list of lifts that are operating below.
There's 4cm of fresh snowfall on the ground this morning but it is snowing now so hopefully there'll be more to report tomorrow.
As with it seems other regions, there's clearer skies and a bit of a warm up (not too much please) in the coming week. After that, more snow back in time for Christmas?
For now though conditions should be fun this morning and I'm off out to try them. Where to go...!?
