New snowfall at base 24cm
Snowfall at base this season 144cm

Snowy scenes again this morning across Shiga Kogen.
Earlier on it was a blizzard kind of 'can't see much' situation. Seems a bit improved at the moment, here in Ichinose where I am now anyway, but visibility is still limited at best.
Wind has been blowing the snow around and so it is one of those times when you'll see more/less depending on where you look. Okushiga Kogen seems to be reporting 30cm of fresh and Yakebitaiyama was reporting 20cm very early morning.
The lifts are Okushiga Kogen and Kumanoyu all appear to be on standby mid-morning, as is the Number 4 pair at Yokoteyama.
Beyond today, forecasts all appear to point to calmer and clearer skies and it might even warm up a bit by the weekend.
So it would be good to get a bit more snow in today while we can.
