Morning from Shiga Kogen.
The long weekend was... busy! Lots of people around, as you might expect. Things are of course quieter this morning but we have some fresh snow to play in. Bit windy overnight and that perhaps explains why Kumanoyu are reporting 5cm of snowfall and Yakebitaiyama are reporting 20cm. Perhaps somewhere in the middle of that is a fair representation of how me we have got. (I have measured 12cm).
Less windy now and even some breaks in the clouds though it is still snowing here in Maruike. Not quite as cold though it is still well under zero. And long may it stay there! The forecasts show the chance of snow over the next few days so fingers crossed we'll get some more cm building up.
The below information is manually checked for each report.
