Fine weather when I got back to Shiga Kogen yesterday with some cloud but a lot of nice blue sky.


We still have five ski areas part open as we wait for more snow to expand operations.


A lot of snow might be coming our from by Friday morning, with clearer skies due on Saturday and then more snow Sunday into Monday.


Right now it is largely cloudy but quite bright with hints of blue sky.


(Not much more than a dusting at base since the last report; recorded in this report).
