Morning from Nozawa.
It was wet yesterday but even down at base we can see how snow almost reached village level. There's a dusting of snow visible, and higher up on the mountain the ski area is reporting 3cm of fresh snowfall.
Hurray!
We expect clearer skies as the day progresses and fine weather tomorrow morning.
