Snowfall at base this season 617cm

Good morning from Nozawa.

A nice layer of fresh this morning after some heavy at times snow overnight.

As I write this, it is snowing but I can also see a break in the clouds and a little blue sky. At the same time, there's limited visibility up at Yamabiko.

Tomorrow and Thursday look set up to bring us some sunny skies and milder conditions, before a drop in temps again and more snow by the weekend.

Sounds like a good pattern.
