Not much can be seen on the webcam for the top of the mountain, so it is unclear what's going on up there.
There has been some light snow up in Shiga Kogen and other higher mountains across the region. The top of our mountain might have got some wet sprinkles - right now don't know.
Down below looks something like the image you can see here. Conditions should dry up and tomorrow some sunshine is forecast.
It's still early and probably best to just chill and enjoy autumn (when it's not raining).
Nozawa Onsen ski area plans to open on Saturday 28th November.
