Good morning from Niseko.
It is a lovely morning. Some sun, some cloud, and lots of beautiful mountain scenery. Temperatures continue to drop into single digits overnight, and there's that general 'winter is coming' exiting feeling starting to take hold.
The four ski areas of Niseko United (Hirafu, Hanazono, Village and Annupuri) all plan to open on Saturday 28th November. Just over 7 weeks away!
I'll be back more regularly now with various news and thoughts as the ski season approaches.
I wonder when I'll be able to tell you about the first snowfalls...
For now, it's time to fill up on toast and then get out and enjoy this fine weather.
