Independent snow and weather reporting from the Niseko region of Hokkaido

New snowfall at base 0cm
Snowfall at base this season 875cm

The sun is shining through my window right now. Outside I can see some blue sky and quite a lot of cloud.

There appears to be some stronger winds as well with all of the top lifts (and gondola at Village) on hold at the start of operations this morning. Only the gondola is opening at Hanazono this morning.

Wind might continue to be pesky over the coming several days and we can probably expect some rain tomorrow and perhaps even a bit more snow on the mountain on Saturday if we are lucky.

There are only several more days left for Niseko Hanazono and Niseko Village - they both plan to be open until Sunday.

From Monday, just Hirafu and Annupuri will remain open.
