New snowfall at base 9cm
Snowfall at base this season 1210cm

Posted on Friday 9th April 2021 This is an archived report. The latest Niseko Now report can be found here

I actually do have a new snowfall number for you this morning!

There's a layer of fresh snow on the ground... and it's actually a rather respectable amount too. There's a nice white (re-)fresh look to the slopes now. All of a sudden, visions of winter flash before my eyes.

Niseko Grand Hirafu are reporting a uniform 15cm of new snowfall; Annupuri are reporting 10cm.

It is still snowing lightly now and we may get a little more during the day.

We are forecast clearer skies and rising temperatures over the weekend.

I have to get this report off early this morning - don't think wind should be an issue, so all being well the lifts will be opening.
