Independent snow and weather reporting from the Niseko region of Hokkaido
New snowfall at base 0cm
Snowfall at base this season 873cm
I have to be quick and early this morning and so am posting before information is available from ski areas. (As such, the list data below is unchanged from yesterday; though I have added planned lift operations).
It's a cloudy, foggy and damp/wet kind of morning, with limited visibility in higher areas. Some forecasts say precipitation up there might be the wet snow kind, rather than rain.
It feels quite windy too... best to check lift operations when the day gets going.
Tomorrow should be clearer and brighter.
