Yesterday was a really warm day out there and temperatures didn't dip much overnight - warmest overnight I can remember this year - and this morning we have lovely blue skies over the Niseko region. No doubt it will be a rather mild day once again, though perhaps not as much as yesterday.
No new snow of course and the snow that is out there will be I would expect rather moist and slushy this morning. Still, there's lots of it.
A moderate wind blowing on the Annupuri area means that they have their Gondola and Jumbo Number 4 lifts on hold, though other resorts appear to be operating as planned.
We are expecting more sunny weather conditions over the next few days and it will remain fairly warm with perhaps rain on Sunday.
The days of fresh deliveries of snow over this season? We shall see...
Just four more days of the season over on the Niseko Hanazono area.
Planned resort operations
Niseko Hanazono - until Sunday 7th April
Niseko Village - until Sunday 7th April
Niseko Annupuri - until Monday 6th May
Niseko Grand Hirafu - until Monday 6th May
