There has been a dusting of snow overnight. It's only about 0.5cm so I feel a bit naughty adding 1cm to the report... but it somehow seems appropriate. Executive decision!
We have cloud and some blue sky at the start of lift operations, with the upper areas of Mt Yotei covered in cloud.
I have added the 'runs open' info for Hirafu to the list below. Other ski areas are less forthcoming with such information each morning (so that is why it's only Hirafu. Oh yes, and the huge wads of cash that they are slipping me to do so*).
It doesn't feel like there's a big heat up imminent just yet, which is great.
