Independent snow and weather reporting from the Niseko region of Hokkaido

New snowfall at base 1cm
Snowfall at base this season 69cm

Posted on Thursday 29th November 2018 This is an archived report. The latest Niseko Now report can be found here

This is a little bit more like it, sort of. Not a whole lot of fresh snow down at base so far - ever so slightly over 1cm - but it is definitely colder with the temperature back down below zero (where it jolly well should be) and we are expecting snow to be falling every day now through until Sunday. Just how much, I will let you know every morning.

For the moment it is mostly cloudy with some very light snow falling in places but some sun actually shining through in others. Pretty. Let's snowing please.

Tomorrow if course is the last day of November. I plan to post my 'season so far' November report on Monday.
