Snowfall at base this season 681cm
Posted on Sunday 27th January 2019 This is an archived report. The latest Niseko Now report can be found here
I can bring you news of some new cm of snow this morning. Not a large amount - just under 5cm (but I'm remembering those few unreported mm from yesterday).
It was snowing earlier on but right now some blue skies are starting to appear over our mountain (though Mt Yotei over in the other direction is still shrouded in cloud).
Maybe some more snow tomorrow and then more coming in again from Wednesday.

Just looking at the numbers that I produce in these reports. (I don't usually take much notice on a day to day basis, so always fun to see how things are going).
I have so far observed 264cm of snowfall this month. Last January I observed 305cm for the month. So we need another 40+cm over the last four reports of the month in order to 'beat' January 2018. Gambaro, as they say!
681cm of snowfall for the season here at base so far as of today.
