Independent snow and weather reporting from the Niseko region of Hokkaido

New snowfall at base 3cm
Snowfall at base this season 5cm

Posted on Wednesday 24th November 2021 This is an archived report. The latest Niseko Now report can be found here

Morning. And yes, there is more snow to report this morning.

It feels colder than it has been, the snow has continued - and I have 3cm to add to the report.

It is quite windy and snowing at the moment and we should be getting more over the next few days. Lets hope it steps up a gear.

I am going to have some celebration toast now. Not that I need a special event for such a thing, of course, but it feels exciting to have snow on the ground.
