Yesterday most of the top areas of the resorts remained closed because of the strong winds so access was limited - and untouched.
This morning I have 4cm of fresh snow to report. If I didn't have to go to Sapporo today, I think I'd by trying to head up to those upper areas first thing.
It is colder once again and for the moment just mostly cloudy. There is a bit of blue sky showing away from the mountain though and some sunshine breaking through at times.
I need to post my report earlier than usual and so no 'at time of opening' status confirmation but I would expect the top areas today to be open.
The next snowfall due perhaps tomorrow night into Thursday.
