New snowfall at base 32cm
Snowfall at base this season 34cm

Posted on Tuesday 10th November 2020 This is an archived report. The latest Niseko Now report can be found here

Good morning everyone.

And what a wonderful morning it is!

It feels almost like in the space of a day we have been transported into the winter season with a very healthy amount of snow on the ground this morning.

I am measuring 32cm of it and there will be more than that in places, especially higher up.

This is good. This is good.

It doesn't mean that we are suddenly actually into ski season though, of course.

We are expecting clearer skies from tomorrow and the planned opening dates of the ski areas is below.

I'm still working on my official 'first post' of the season (coming soon).

Planned opening dates:

Niseko Annupuri: Saturday 28th November 2020

Niseko Grand Hirafu: Saturday 5th December 2020

Niseko Hanazono: Saturday 5th December 2020

Niseko Village: Tuesday 1st December 2020

All snowfall data presented on this page is the snowfall measured and observed at base/town level by our reporter based in Kutchan/Niseko. The 'new snowfall' number represents the amount of snow measured since the previous report. All opinions are those of the individual reporters. Information regarding ski area operations is manually checked every morning and is believed to be correct at the time of the report.
