New snowfall at base 45cm
Snowfall at base this season 123cm
Posted on Monday 8th January 2024 This is an archived report. The latest Naeba Now report can be found here.
Morning from Naeba.
Good news. 45cm of snow and actually more than that in some wind-drift areas (60cm in places).
It is quite windy still though only light snow at the moment and fair visibility especially in lower areas.
The snow is light and fluffy, exactly how we love it. Upper parts has been wind affected and there might be differences in a snow cover so ride carefully!
Some lifts are affected early on as the ski areas works with all the new snow. The Dragondola (and Tashiro Area of Kagura) are also closed for the day due to the weather conditions).
