Snowfall at base this season 589cm

Good morning from Naeba!
The snowfall since yesterday is 32cm. It snowed a lot for the first time in quite a while and obviously that has been great to see.
The visibility has been limited with a moderate wind. The Tashiro area of Kagura is closed today due to the weather conditions and so Dragondola is also not operating.
Status of the top lift is currently unconfirmed but it has not been declared closed.
There is some blue sky around now but we are told to expect some more snow during today.
Snow is not forecast over the weekend, less wind too, but there's more due to fall in the first half of next week. That sounds like a more normal mid-winter pattern.
