Independent snow and weather reporting from the Naeba region of Niigata

New snowfall at base 10cm
Snowfall at base this season 1130cm

Posted on Tuesday 28th March 2017 This is an archived report. The latest Naeba Now report can be found here.

Good morning from Naeba everybody.

If this season had a name we would call it the season that just keeps giving. Even at this late point in the season we have received 10 cm of fresh snow since yesterday's report.

It's not premium quality powder for sure however still a lot of fun to be had!

The weather today looks like it could either rain or snow a little later on. Stay tuned to find out what happened.

Looking on we are expecting mostly clear weather tomorrow with a little rain on Thursday during the day; this rain should then turn to snow though and that snow is expected to continue all the way through until Sunday 2nd April.

Please note that Sunday 2nd April will be the last day of regular opening in Naeba.
