Ah now this is more like it.
Naeba reporting 40-60cm of new snowfall.
Kagura reporting 50cm of new snowfall.
It's still coming down now and it's also very windy and that is affecting both areas. The gondolas and the top of Naeba are not open - it's basically lower slopes for now - and the Tashiro and the main Kagura part of Kagura are closed too. So it's just Mitsumata area that is open there this morning. Things may well calm later on in the day allowing more to open up.
The forecast does tell us that it should calm down sometime today and actually after today the snow will ease off for at least a few days. I'm sure the new snowfall we have today will do us just fine for a while.
(Of course, we always want more though!)
Official resort snow depth:
Naeba - 250cm
Kagura - 370cm
Splash Bowl not open due to poor visibility
