Well, well, well... what's this we have here then!?

I do believe it's fresh snow! Kagura reporting up to 10cm of fresh snow, with maybe 5cm or so here in Naeba. Much colder too, of course.

Windy too, and the Tashiro area of Kagura is closed - so all head for the Mitsumata Ropeway this morning. Early on it will be open from the Ropeway up to Kagura Number 1 romance lift, obviously subject to change depending on the conditions at the time.

The snow is supposed to ease off this morning though leaving us with a cloudy day.

After this short blast of winter, tomorrow should be back to mild and sunny.

Official resort snow depth:

Naeba - 240cm
