Independent snow and weather reporting from the Naeba region of Niigata

New snowfall at base 5cm
Snowfall at base this season 550cm

Posted on Wednesday 20th March 2024 This is an archived report. The latest Naeba Now report can be found here.

Waking up to a light snowfall early this morning, about 5cm.

The snow is loosening up due to temperatures above zero at the base, but that's set to change in the second half of the day, with more snow on the way. Currently, it's sunny with some clouds, and we anticipate the wind to pick up as the day progresses.

Fingers crossed for a good delivery of snow overnight tonight into tomorrow.
