Independent snow and weather reporting from the Naeba region of Niigata

New snowfall at base 2cm
Snowfall at base this season 1150cm

Posted on Tuesday 1st April 2025 This is an archived report. The latest Naeba Now report can be found here.

Good morning from Naeba.

It's a cloudy morning with a dusting of snow. There was 2 cm of fresh snowfall overnight.

The wind is light at the base, and it looks like the clouds will linger with occasional snowfall throughout the day.

Down in Yuzawa, it's raining, so hopefully, Naeba will continue to see snowflakes instead.
