Independent snow and weather reporting from the Naeba region of Niigata

New snowfall at base 7cm
Snowfall at base this season 1042cm

Posted on Saturday 11th March 2017 This is an archived report. The latest Naeba Now report can be found here.

Good morning from Naeba everybody.

Today is looking like it could go either way. There is a fair amount of cloud around and some snow still falling, however, in some parts of the sky blue skies and sunshine are showing through.

As of yesterday, we have another 7cm of snow so there should be some powder to be smashed during the morning.

For this coming week, we are expecting snow most days with mostly clear weather on Sunday. There is, unfortunately, some rain forecast for Monday, however, this should become snow later on in the night so don't worry! At the moment it seems that Wednesday will experience the best snow so get those powder planks ready.

Destructive!
