Aha, the warm spell did let up. I was almost daring it not to yesterday. But it did and this morning we are the happy recipients of new snow.

Yes, fresh snow!

5-10cm here in Naeba and up to 20cm at Kagura.

The downside to this is that strong winds again are messing with lifts and as such only the Mitsumata Ropeway to Kagura Number 1 pair lift is open at Kagura. Looks like here in Naeba the top area will be closed, but we might expect changes to that especially if the winds die down some.

This snow isn't supposed to last long, as tomorrow should be bluebird and warmer once again.

But hey, new snow. Let's enjoying.
