Another day with some good snow falling. To start out, though, we did not feel last night's earthquake—lots of people have already asked about that. The bigger question is whether this is just a precursor for a bigger one in Tohoku or Hokkaido. Give me tornadoes (a hint about my background); earthquakes are not fun.
Not sure if the early-opening resorts are going to be able to get going this weekend, but it looks like Friday could have some pretty heavy snowfall. We will let you know, of course.
