Heavy snow alert!
Heavy, as in falling quickly and building up.
Light, as in light and fluffy.
That's what we like to hear!
The resort is mentioning more than 60cm of snowfall on their social media this morning; the official resort report is saying 40cm, so not sure what's going on there. I am indeed measuring 60cm (plus or minus in a few different areas) - a bit of wind has made measuring rather difficult this morning. I think that is a fair representation of what we have got though.
Madarao are also reporting a bit of congestion on the road coming up here and the likelihood of some delays with lifts opening as they cope with all this snow.
Visibility is very limited too. So it's not everyone's idea of a great day to be on the slopes....
But it is one of the better kinds of problems to have to deal with!
And tomorrow the sun should be out giving us a potentially amazing day. And I don't over-use such comments as you no doubt know.
Hope some of you can be here to enjoy it.
