Good morning from Madarao.
The ski area is this morning reporting 15cm, and that's my measurement too. It looks like areas just to the north got much more. Don't be surprised to see (for example) the number being reported from nearby Myoko being larger. It seems to be a pattern this season that areas to the north across over to Tokamachi in Niigata getting more than us/more than usual.
Snowy clouds have eased off and there are hints of blue sky in places.
Cold out there. But lots of fun to be had.
Madarao Mountain Resort:
- Fresh snowfall reported by the ski area: 15cm
- Official snow depth: 220cm
- All lifts scheduled to be open apart from Number 5
- Main courses open
- Tree run courses open: all open
Tangram Ski Circus:
- Official snow depth: 170cm
- All 5 lifts scheduled to operate
