Hello from Madarao on a very cold morning.
Madarao is officially reporting 30cm again this morning, but I am measuring more than that at my spot... over 40cm, and more than that in wind-blown areas.
It is still snowing this morning but lightly and there are signs of the sun actually trying to break through clouds; particularly over on the Tangram side of the mountain.
The sun might not be successful today, but probably will be tomorrow with sun on the forecast. For the moment our forecast for today is cloud/light snow.
Whatever. Lovely snow conditions and - you guessed it - it's not busy.
For the people who can be here, I congratulate you on your good fortune!
For those reading from afar and shouting at the computer screen in various degrees of frustration, I truly feel for you. But let's just be happy that Japan is back to great snow this season and believe that next year will continue that.
Madarao will still be here. :)
