Good morning from Madarao.
Well, here we are on the last day of the winter season at Madarao. The season has come and gone way too fast (as always), but I have had a blast (as always).
At the end of today the lifts on our mountain will be able to take a well-earned rest.
It has been a bit of an odd last day really as we have seen some very changeable weather conditions. But that doesn't matter now. And the snow that might fall in the few days doesn't really either; not for Madarao anyway.
--------
I hope that you enjoyed Madarao if you came here. And I hope that you enjoyed my reports and found them to be useful. The daily reports will be back for next season of course.
--------
In early May we will be posting an 'end of season' look back and wrap-up report on each of the Now reports on SnowJapan, including this one.
So see you again in early May for that wrap-up.
--- -----
Remember, if you are still up for it there are ski resorts in nearby Myoko, Nozawa and Shiga Kogen that plan to remain open through until early May.
