Morning from Madarao.
Another good haul of fresh snow since yesterday afternoon with, I would say generally, 20-30cm of fresh. (Madarao itself is reporting 20cm). It has been a good last week and breathed some real excitement into the conditions.
That excitement has of course been dampened with various news of accidents and incidents in the snow in quite a few regions of Japan, including nearby in Nozawa and Myoko. At times it might seem hard to temper the excitement, but we always need to keep in mind the dangers in the mountains.
