Great news this morning and something of a surprise.
I measure 18cm of fresh snowfall here at base this morning and Madarao Kogen is this morning reporting 20-25cm of fresh snow since yesterday on the mountain.
Very nice. The mountain should feel very refreshed this morning...
Early morning snow expected to ease off completely by later this morning leaving us with a cloudy day. If the forecast is right for more snow on Friday, conditions should be good for the weekend. Bring it on!
