Good morning from Madarao.
We did indeed get more snow. The ski area is reporting 40cm of fresh snowfall on their official website (and '20-60cm' on social media). I didn't measure as much as 40cm, but still we do have a very nice new layer to keep March being a bit mad this year.
With snow depths the highest they have been all season, I wouldn't be surprised if we got some extensions to the season. (Note: there's no behind-the-scenes information behind that, I know there's all sorts of stuff involved in that kind of thing that might make it difficult).
Come Saturday it will be milder once again for at least a few days.
Madarao Mountain Resort
- Madarao plans to be open until Sunday 31st March
- Fresh snowfall reported by the ski area: 40cm
- All lifts operating apart from Number 3 and Number 5
- Tree runs that are open: All appear to be planning on opening
- Official snow depth: 240cm
Tangram Ski Circus
- Tangram Ski Circus plans to be open until Sunday 31st March
- The Number 2 and Number 6 lifts are now closed for the season
- Official snow depth: 145cm
