Good morning from Madarao and a very happy New Year to you all.

This morning the resort is reporting 20cm of fresh snowfall and I pretty much concur. They have increased their official snow depth to 50cm.

And what about this then? A lovely morning. Blue skies again! I thought it was due to be snowing still...

But don't worry - snow is due again later on today and hopefully tomorrow.

Anyway, if you don't have a storm going on in your head from too much partying last night, it is a beautiful morning to get out there. Remember to wrap up well --- it's a really cold start.
